Cider Mills/Orchards: Apples, doughnuts, and fresh cider all come to mind when you think about fall.  The Dexter Cider Mill is the oldest continuously run cider mill in Michigan, offering fresh cider from a variety of handpicked apples.  If you’d like to pick your own apples, visit Wiard’s Orchards & Country Fair in Ypsilanti. While you are there, head to the pumpkin patch and get a head start on your pumpkin art!

Corn Mazes: Enjoy the trails of a corn maze with your kids or friends at Coleman’s Farm and Corn Maze in Saline, Wiard’s Orchards & Country Fair, Talladay Farms in Milan, or the Blast Corn Maze in Dexter. Make sure you don’t make a wrong turn, otherwise it may take a while to get out.  Go after dark to make the challenge a little more exciting.

Haunted Houses: If you like to be spooked on Halloween, check out some of the Ann Arbor Area haunted houses for a real scare. There are 6 haunted attractions at Wiard’s Night Terrors. There’s also the Terrorfied Forest and Manor in Pickney and the Brandywine Cemetery in Ann Arbor. If you’re up for a scary challenge, Talladay Farms and Wiard’s Night Terrors have haunted corn mazes too!

Halloween: Take the kids trick-or-treating around Ann Arbor from 5pm-8pm on Halloween night, or head over to Boo Bash at the Briarwood Mall on October 27th for some early inside trick-or-treating (and shopping) at participating stores.

About reinhartsouth

2008 wasn’t the best time to open a new office, but the Charles Reinhart Company looked to expansion as the way to ensure the future. Reinhart South, now located on the corner of State Street and Eisenhower Boulevard in Ann Arbor, opened January 7, 2008 in a small office on Washtenaw Avenue. Facing the bleakest economic situation since the great depression, Manager Dawn Foerg began the process of recruiting top real estate talent to the company. One agent at a time, South grew. By early 2009, 15 agents called the South office home. Still fighting the economic crises, the office grew to more than 40 licensed Realtors by the end of 2010. Today, South is among the five top producing offices in Ann Arbor.
